Paula Chacartegui (1995) is a Spanish designer. After graduating from IED (2018) she worked as an intern for Martí Guixé (2018-2019) and Marcel Wanders (2019). It was during this time when she specialised in the field of crafts and got her Masters of Luxury & Craftsmanship diploma from ECAL (2019-2020). Since then, she is working in Spain as a product designer for the interior design studio am29 where she designs indoor and outdoor furniture, lighting and textiles. Her work ranges from product design to installations and conceptual pieces, where she has collaborated or worked for companies like Alessi (IT), La Prairie (CH), Systemtronic (ES), Marsotto (IT) and Isimar (ES). She was a designer-in-residency at Light Art Como (2017), she won the second price of JOYA Barcelona Fair (2018) and was finalist for the ItMakes competition (2020). She has exhibited in Milan Design week (2018/2021), Museum Arnhem (2020) and has been published in magazines such as Wallpaper, Wohnrevue, Experimenta Magazine and Neo2.
Set of hangers designed for the brand Systemtronic that provide spaces with a practical and aesthetic complement. Following the philosophy of the search for the organic and natural, these sinuous shapes have been created to give the product a certain presence.
